DriTac Adhesive Group manufactures premium wood and cork flooring adhesives and flooring-related products for installers, contractors and architects.           DriTac Adhesive Group has expanded its product line through the years with a number of new and innovative products. These include DriTac Professional Wood Floor Repair Kit, the quick and easy way to repair hollow spots and loose areas in wood floors; DriTac Urethane Adhesive Remover, which removes wet or uncured urethane adhesive from wood flooring surfaces; and its latest product, DriTac Concrete Moisture Emission Sealer, which prevents moisture in concrete subfloors from affecting wood flooring and wood flooring adhesives.

          A division of Basic Adhesives, Inc. since 1986, DriTac Flooring Adhesives was originally established in 1956 in New York City. Over the years, DriTac has steadily increased its market presence as more and more flooring professionals recommend or specify DriTac products for their requirements.  

          At the time of DriTac's inception, the company's signature product was DriTac 6200, a special waterbased wood flooring adhesive. In the early years, DriTac's reputation grew in the New York area by word of mouth;  it remained virtually unknown elsewhere.  Back in those days, most of the country was using solvent-based adhesives to install wood flooring.  DriTac 6200 was unique in that it achieved a superior ultimate bond strength with a non-toxic, waterbased formula.  When the Clean Air Act of 1990 was enacted, adhesive manufacturers were required to eliminate chlorinated solvents from their products.  DriTac 6200 was recognized as the adhesive of choice, as it had always been V.O.C. compliant from the beginning.  DriTac was the right product at the right time!
