Prior to laying, K-Swiss laminate floors should be stored in the room horizontally for at least 48 hours at room temperature in the unopened pack. Before, during and at least three days after laying, the following room air conditions must be guaranteed: Floor surface: min. 15 °C Air temperature: min. 18 °C Humidity: 50 – 75%
For cosmetic reasons K-Swiss laminate floors should always be laid lengthwise in relation to the main source of light. Calculations should be made prior to laying as to the width of the last row of panel. Should it be narrower than 5 cm it will be necessary to cut the first panel lengthwise before starting.
K-Swiss laminate floor should always be floating, i.e., the underneath of the panels should not be stuck, nailed or fixed in any other way. After laying, skirting boards should be affixed to the wall, not to the floor!
Please adhere strictly to the instructions for laying, as claims for compensation cannot be accepted in the event of improper use. Should problems arise when laying the floor, the work should be stopped immediately and the specialist retailer consulted.
