In order to create this effect, Kronotex has revived the century-old look of "brushing" natural timber and has applied it for the first time to laminate flooring. This 8 mm laminate wood floor is a first-quality, high-end, AC3 Rated, HDF core floor. The Kronotex Clic2Clic lock system is characterized by the highest grade connections with lasting durability and extreme tensile strength. These connections are glue-free, can be re-used again and again, and have all-round edge sealing for damp protection. This laminate flooring is suitable for residential and light commercial applications.

We installed a laminate floor in a previous house using Witex. We found that the Kronotex was not as easy to install because the Witex didn't require all of the hammering to get the pieces to snap together. That said, there were times with the Witex floor in which the pieces would come apart in high traffic areas. We are hopeful that over time, the Kronotex will not do that due to the extra work of hammering the pieces together.
